EP 20. Pastor Jussttinn Coleman: Healing from Church Hurt
Thursday Jan 30, 2020
Thursday Jan 30, 2020
Pastor Jussttiinn Coleman is a phenomenal leader and is the pastor of New Life Deliverance Worship Church in North Brunswick, NJ. Pastor Juss, a true church kid, is also known for his singing capabilities, and at any given moment, he can be found singing songs of worship and praise with the powerful God given voice he possesses. Pastor Juss values honesty, transparency, and love, and uses these core values in ministry wherever he goes. In this episode, he shares his personal journey to wholeness, sharing how he dealt with what is in my opinion the worst form of hurt anyone can ever experience: church hurt. Unfortunately, so many people have been hurt in church, either by leadership or someone in the church for one reason or another. He found purpose in his pain, however, and in this episode, he shares many of the lessons he learned along the way. This episode really helped me to understand how someone who suffered abuse in ministry could still find it in themselves to continue pursuing ministry. Pastor Juss even shares his views on therapy and whether or not he recommends it for christians. I’m telling you, it’s a powerpacked episode, one worth listening to and sharing! I am pleased to present to you, Pastor Jussttiinn Coleman because I believe we are in for a treat.
